A King William Garden

A front yard and side yard in one of San Antonio's oldest neighborhoods, overgrown toward the same lawn and foundation planting it had worn for thirty years. The design starts over: a curved gravel path that slows the approach, limestone boulders placed to invite sitting, and a shade canopy allowed to claim the space it always wanted. A side enclave holds its breath for a water feature that doesn't need to come yet.
