A Clear Lake House

A 1970s home in Houston's NASA corridor, where the backyard hadn't kept pace with the family growing inside it. The design starts over from the street: a formal brick entry, a pergola platform on salvaged brick, a dining terrace, a play garden beneath a mature oak, a tranquil pond, and a kitchen garden with blackberry espalier trained across the garage wall. Seven zones, front to back — built to grow into as the family does.
