THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS

A Woodlands Grotto

A backyard in The Woodlands organized around a prayer garden in the far corner — a grotto of cream gravel, a curved stone bench, and a statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe framed by Carolina Jessamine and Peggy Martin roses. The rest of the garden builds toward that moment: a pergola patio, a hexagonal kitchen garden with masonry beds, a fire pit with a long sightline to the grotto threshold. A garden built around what the family actually believes in.
