A Norhill Bungalow

A north-facing craftsman bungalow in Norhill Heights, home to the same family for forty years, with a backyard overtaken by volunteer salvias. The redesign connects front and back as one property: a reclaimed brick walk through native plantings out front, a rain garden along the east side swale, and a backyard meadow beneath an established silver maple, with a pergola, corten kitchen beds, and a petrified wood fountain in the far corner. Inspired by Memorial Park, designed to feel found rather than assembled.
